Derick has really been coming up with some funny stuff lately.Yesterday he kept telling us that he'd been shot...he'd show us his knee...there was a little red mark...and he'd say he had been shot by a "bb gun". Then when you asked him who had shot him he'd say "Bad guys". And when you asked him what the bad guys looked like he'd say "Blue". So he is learning how to tell stories and not always true stories.
He is also studdering a little bit. All of our children have gone through this phase. Instead of saying the first word in a sentence once, he says it again and again. It's pretty funny. He's got such a cute sense of humor. I love this age. He's always coming up with something new.

Those pictures are soo good! You've got a future model on your hands.
What a cute little character. You're right, that age is so fun. I wonder if those were the same 'bad guys' that always find a way into our house and can be seen by nobody but Jake. Sounds suspicious to me.
Good luck with all your work this week. Sounds like you're gonna be busy. But Friday sounds like some relaxing fun. Or at least a little break from the trenches.
