We Forgot The Camera.....

Hopefully this will be the only time this happens. Everything the kids did last night would have made a great picture. We went to the Annual Employee Appreciation Dinner. There was free popcorn and cotton candy. There was a rock climbing wall. There were also three huge inflatable jumping things for the kids to play on. And a wonderful Dutch Oven dinner. It was all free.

The kids ate alot of cotton candy. I lost track of how many Alise had. Everytime I saw her she had a new one. Then Cade came over to us and asked how much he weighed....He wanted to climb the rock wall and he had to be at least 40 pounds. He even tried it. Once again another great photo op, and there I am without the camera.
Then Bren attempted the climbing wall. The first time he made it half way, but he tried again and made it to the top and rang the buzzer. That would have made another great picture.

We were worried about Cade's blood sugar with all of that Cotton Candy but when we checked him his blood sugar was perfect. It was all of that running around.

Derick.....He had a blast. He went on all of the inflatable things, but didn't know how to wait in line. One of the workers was really cute with him. She'd see him coming (running towards her) and she'd scoop him up and hold him until it was his turn to go on the "ride". It was funny. But then he had a meltdown. He is my only child who has ever called me "Dummyhead", "Stupidhead" and "Crybaby". Thanks to his older sister and brothers. Oh, and he loves to stick his tongue out. These are all "qualities" he possesses and we are using every disiplinary trick we've learned to fix the problem. Hot Sauce works for the tongue. But anyways, he had a meltdown so I took him to the car. We told him if he could be nice he could go play again. No such luck...He was screaming at the top of his lungs...."I BE NICE". Didn't work.

So we stayed until they let the air out of the inflatables. We had a blast. I've learned my lesson. Next time we'll go home and get the camera.

You're right, those pix would've been awesome. But you still did an EXCELLENT job describing the day's events. It sounds like everyone had lots of fun!
Keep the awesome blogs coming. We LOVE THEM!
